Agree a pickup time with your vendor
After booking, coordinate directly with your vendor through the in-app message thread to agree a specific pickup time and location. All pickups must be pre-scheduled — do not show up without a confirmed time. Vendors respond quickly and are used to flexible schedules.

Use professional gear without owning it
Pick up your gear at the agreed time, confirm condition with the vendor, and you're free to create. Your rental runs until midnight on the booking day. Use the equipment for your shoot, event, production, or project — no restrictions on what you create.

Return the next morning before 7 AM
Bring the equipment back to the vendor the following morning no later than 7:00 AM. The return window gives you enough time after a late night shoot. Returns after 7 AM are treated as late and may incur an additional day's fee. Always notify the vendor if you're running close.

Can I rent from multiple vendors in one order?
Yes. Add items from different vendors to your cart and pay once. Each booking is sent to the respective vendor automatically.
What happens if a vendor cancels my booking?
You receive a full refund to your original payment method within 24 hours plus a platform credit. We take vendor reliability seriously.
Is my ID document stored safely?
Your ID image is stored with restricted access on ImageKit's secure servers and is only accessible to GEARS staff for verification. It is never shared with vendors.
Can I extend my rental to a second day?
GEARS uses a same-day rental model. To keep gear for a second day, place a new booking for that date before midnight on your current rental day.
What if the gear is damaged when I pick it up?
Always inspect and photograph equipment at pickup in the vendor's presence. Report any pre-existing damage immediately through the message thread so you are not held liable.
How do I become a vendor?
Tap “List Your Gear” in the top navigation, complete your shop profile, add your bank details, and submit your first listing for review. Approval typically takes under 24 hours.
